Q: Which fabric should I choose?
A: DuraLite is light yet durable with a chequered texture, ideal for homes and decks in moderate weather, with a 5-year warranty. DuraWeave is a tarp-grade fabric with a leathery feel for rooftops and exposed sites, with a 7-year warranty. DuraShield has a cloth-like premium finish outside and a vinyl coating on the back for all-weather, heavy-duty use, with a 10-year warranty.

Q: How do I measure my fire pit?
A: Measure your fire pit carefully and enter the actual width, depth and height in centimetres, taken at the widest points, matching the labels on the calculator. Do not add extra fitting allowance to your measurements — we automatically add the appropriate manufacturing allowance to help ensure the finished cover fits comfortably.

Q: Do the covers have air vents?
A: Yes. Every cover includes at least two covered air vents to release trapped moisture and prevent mould build-up. Let us know if you would prefer the cover without them.

Q: What is the manufacturing allowance and why is it added?
A: To ensure an easy and comfortable fit, a small manufacturing allowance is automatically added to the dimensions you provide. This is normally approximately 2.5 cm to 5 cm across the width and depth, depending on the overall size of the cover. It makes the cover easier to slip on and off without straining the seams — please do not add extra allowance yourself.

Q: Can the cover be made with a split?
A: Yes. Choose the Split Zipper tie-down option in the calculator, or contact us if you need a split fabricated down the centre of the width or depth, from top to bottom.

Q: Which tie-down should I pick?
A: For exposed or windy gardens, Push Clips to Secure Legs or Elastic + Push Clips give the most secure hold, and a Split Zipper makes larger covers easier to fit and remove. For a neat, quick fit on a sheltered patio, Drawstring or Elastic at Bottom works well. You can also choose No Tie-Down if you prefer.

Q: Can I add a logo or text?
A: Yes, personalisation with your own logo or text can be added to the cover (available on DuraWeave and DuraShield fabrics).
